Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mitaker, including the browser extension and the web app at https://mitaker.my.id (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Mitaker records the Google Meet tab you choose, stores recordings in the Google Drive account you connect, and produces transcripts and AI-generated summaries. Mitaker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with a Google account and must be at least 13 years old.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your devices secure.

3. Recording and consent

  • You must follow the laws that apply to recording conversations where you and the participants are located, including informing participants and obtaining their consent when required.
  • You must follow the policies of your organization and of any meeting you record.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you record and how you use it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • record people covertly or in violation of their privacy or other rights;
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purposes;
  • attempt to access other users’ data, or disrupt, probe or overload the Service;
  • reverse engineer or resell the Service without our permission.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to your recordings, transcripts, chat and summaries. You grant us a limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party services

The Service depends on Google Meet, Google Drive, the Google Gemini API, Supabase and Vercel. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and changes to Google Meet may temporarily break features such as caption capture.

7. AI-generated content

Transcripts and summaries are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review them before relying on them or sharing them with others.

8. Availability and changes

The Service is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, recordings or business arising from your use of the Service. Keep your own copies of anything important.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your Google accounts and requesting deletion of your data. We may suspend access if you breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
